A walk-in-interview is generally conducted for a temporary or contractual job where no separate call letters are issued and the candidates need to carry all their certificates on the specified date of interview itself. In the walk-in-interview posts requires employees to work for specific hours or for office-hours and need to sign and agree to terms of a contract. Walk-in-interviews is usually for a specified amount of time and ends upon completion of a project or assignment. Some employers prefer to hire through walk-in-interview if their workload fluctuates or if they want to test workers' capabilities before hiring them permanently or to lower their expenses which otherwise need to spend in hiring a permanent staff. Workers selected through Walk-in-interview are often paid a lump sum on monthly basis and the pay is quite low when we compare it with that of the permanent staff in the same designation.
